So, I’m insanely behind in my travel posts–backlogged from last year’s travels! So I’m dedicating this month to catching up and posting about my travels, bit by bit.
Next leg in our journey was Iceland! Yeah, I’ve been here before, but I didn’t mind coming back again and I knew my brother wanted to visit Iceland so I included it in our itinerary. It was also pretty cool coming back because the weather was a lot calmer than when I went the first time so I got to see some vistas a lot more clearly compared this time around.

Because our flight arrived sometime past midnight, we decided to take it easy on our first day. When we eventually arrived in Reykjavik we decided to take it easy, checked out the sights, picked up some items and whatnot. It was our chill day.
So our first day excursion was to South Iceland. Actually both day tours I had sort of done before but I wanted my brother to see the vast differences throughout the country. Plus, this particularly neat because it included a few places I hadn’t visited the first time, Jokusarlon Glacier Lagoon and the Diamond Beach. So I was pretty excited for that.
So that was the first half of our time in Iceland. It was a pleasant surprise in that I got to see things this time that I didn’t see last time, some new and wonderful and majestic places. And I got to see familiar places in a different light, which was really cool.
